When welded under the operating condition of low current, SJ-53 spatters little spark and have stable electric arc;Users Ar+CO2 as shielding gas for all-position welding or high-speed single-layer back welding. Mostly appplied to butt joint welding and fillet welding of steel structures in the industries of shipbuilding, vehicle, bridge, architecture and pipe fittings.
Points for Attention
Ensure that the purity of shielding gas and mixing ratio of properly mixed gas is well controlled.
Keep the shielding gas flow at 20-25L/min
Keep the electrode extension between 15-25mm
Rid the welded part of rusty layer, damp, oil stain and dust, etc.
Always keep torch nozzle clean and TIP in good condition.
Use the wire under the best possible conditions.
